Bradley L. Hardy is a research fellow with the Institute for Economic Equity at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He is an associate professor of public policy at Georgetown University and a nonresident senior fellow in Economic Studies at the Brookings Institution. His research interests are in labor economics, with an emphasis on economic instability, intergenerational mobility, poverty policy and socio-economic outcomes. He also conducts research on the role of anti-poverty transfer programs such as SNAP food stamps and the earned income tax credit for improving economic well-being among low-income individuals and families.

Hardy holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Kentucky, a master of public policy degree from Georgetown University, and bachelor’s degree in economics from Morehouse College.
