Bullard Discusses Impact of COVID-19 on U.S. Economy in CNN International Interview

During an interview on CNN International, St. Louis Fed President James Bullard discussed ways to keep people and businesses financially whole during the temporary shutdown of the U.S. economy due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
With “insurance,” or income maintenance, the U.S. will come out on the other side with the economy intact, Bullard said. “Then we’ll be fine,” he said. “We’ll turn on the factor[ies] and we’ll go back to work.”
