Alberto G. Musalem

Alberto Musalem is the president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. In this role, he participates on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), leads the 1,500 employees of the St. Louis Fed, and oversees the activities of the Eighth Federal Reserve District. He is an economist and executive with public and private sector experience in economic policy, finance and markets.

July 11, 2024: Musalem participated in a fireside chat at the Little Rock Regional Chamber’s Power Up Little Rock event during a three-day visit to Little Rock, Ark. View the event and photos from his trip.

June 20-21, 2024: Musalem engaged with business and community leaders from several industries and toured the National Civil Rights Museum during a visit to Memphis, Tenn. View photos from his trip.

June 18, 2024: Musalem gave a speech, “Remarks on the Economic Outlook and Monetary Policy,” at a CFA Society St. Louis event in St. Louis.

April 15, 2024: In the St. Louis Fed’s 2023 annual report, Musalem wrote about “A Commitment to Public Service and the Fed’s Mission” in the President’s Message.

April 12, 2024: During a visit to Louisville, Ky., Musalem met with local area business leaders, toured a GE Appliances manufacturing plant, and visited the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. View photos from his trip.
