Perspectives and Service
President Musalem engages with community members throughout the Eighth Federal Reserve District and elsewhere to better understand various perspectives on the economy. He regularly meets with representatives from various industries and other groups to collect information about current economic and financial conditions, and brings those insights to national conversations about monetary policy. Additionally, these engagements serve as opportunities for President Musalem to learn how the St. Louis Fed can better serve its constituents.

- Roundtables, meetings and industry tours note engagements where the objective is to collect information about current economic and financial conditions.
- Moderated conversations, remarks, speeches and panels note opportunities to have a public dialogue about various topics and often include prepared remarks that are published on the St. Louis Fed’s website.
- Receptions refer to informal meet and greets that offer opportunities to engage and learn from stakeholders in the St. Louis Fed’s District. These engagements generally do not include prepared remarks.
- Conferences refer to events that President Musalem attends to listen and do not include prepared remarks.
Information not listed in the calendar includes meetings related to bank supervision, routine staff meetings, or meetings with candidates for employment, director positions or advisory council roles with the St. Louis Fed, and other personnel items.
