President Bullard Appears on CNBC Europe's "Squawk Box" - Part 3: Quantitative Easing, Forward Guidance

Regarding the use of unconventional policy tools, St. Louis Fed President James Bullard noted that he prefers quantitative easing to forward guidance; the latter depends on how credible the promise about future monetary policy is, and such a promise can also inadvertently send a pessimistic signal about the future economy.
