Come and sample "Yen to Trade," a 10-lesson curriculum unit filled with active learning and fun.
The lessons can be taught as an exploratory unit or as stand-alone lessons. They teach economic concepts in a multidisciplinary way, incorporating social studies, math, geography, language arts, art and physical education.
You will engage in the activities—as well as explore the world from your computer with GeoFRED® data mapping—and see how to use both in your classroom. Bring your laptop and earbuds to maximize your experience.
Earn up to six hours of CPDU credit. Breakfast, lunch and parking validation provided.
There is no fee, but registration is required by June 5.
