With a theme of "Connecting People and Places to Opportunity," summit sessions and speakers will explore the evolving importance of people- and place-based policies and the circumstances in which they can be most effective.
The event offers attendees the latest research on and best practices for promoting the economic mobility and resilience of low- and moderate-income people and communities. Attendees will explore examples of local successes and have outside-the-Beltway conversations about policy solutions with fellow researchers, funders, bankers and practitioners.
The Federal Reserve banks of Chicago, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Philadelphia and St. Louis are sponsoring the event.
