For decades, the U.S. has been running an international trade deficit. What are the causes of the deficit? Should we be worried about it? Could the trade dispute with China change the balance?
Please join us as St. Louis Fed Research Officer YiLi Chien looks into these questions and others in a presentation on U.S. trade deficits and the trade dispute with China.
Chien has a doctorate in economics from UCLA, a master's degree in economics from National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan, and a bachelor's degree in economics from National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
A complimentary buffet breakfast will be served. Seating is limited and registration is required by Aug. 10, so sign up soon to save your spot.
