Investment Connection is a pilot program from the St. Louis Fed that helps match potential Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)-eligible community and economic development projects in need of an investment, grant, loan or service resources with funding organizations, including financial institutions, corporations and foundations.

This inaugural Investment Connection event will showcase eight potentially CRA-eligible community and economic development project proposals in the Memphis/Shelby County market. The project funding requests to be presented to potential funders range from $10,000 to $8.6 million in impact areas ranging from single neighborhoods to city- and countywide.

Project proposals address:

  • Small-business development
  • Community development finance
  • Financial access, capability and empowerment
  • Neighborhood revitalization and stabilization
  • Affordable housing
  • Economic/workforce development
  • Community services and facilities

Presenters will have 10 minutes to share information about their organizations and projects, followed by 10 minutes of questions from funders. You will not want to miss this unique chance to share opportunities to further invest in your communities.

Participation in this event is free; however, registration is required by Thursday, Nov. 9, as space is limited. Lunch will be provided.
