Join us as experts from the St. Louis Fed, two universities and the Delta Regional Authority give an update on economic conditions and the outlook for Southern Arkansas at this breakfast event.

Speakers and panelists include:

  • Kevin Kliesen, business economist and officer in the St. Louis Fed Research division, who will discuss national economic conditions;
  • Michael Pakko, chief economist at the Institute for Economic Advancement at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, who will give the regional picture;
  • Panelist David Rankin, president emeritus of Southern Arkansas University;
  • Panelist Chris Masingill, federal co-chairman of the Delta Regional Authority;
  • Panelist Peter Wui, an associate professor of economics at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff; and
  • Moderator, Carla Martin, Vice Chancellor, Finance and Administration, at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

Laurence Alexander, chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, will give a welcome. Robert Hopkins, regional executive of the Little Rock Branch of the St. Louis Fed, will introduce the speakers. Attendees will have a chance to ask questions.

A hot buffet breakfast will be served. The event is free, but you must sign up by Oct. 6.
