College students and educators, please join us for an inaugural event for undergraduate juniors and seniors interested in pursuing an internship or career in bank examinations. At the event:
- Students in business, finance, accounting or related fields will be able to learn more about and will have a chance to interview for bank examiner opportunities with the St. Louis Fed's Banking Supervision department.
- Participants will hear about the importance of the examiner's role in upholding the safety and soundness of the U.S. financial system.
- Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with and ask bank examiners questions about examiners' experiences transitioning from college students to professionals.
- Educators will hear from one of our leading economists about the economy of the St. Louis Fed's Eighth District and attend a "professors' roundtable" where they can meet and network with managers and officers from the St. Louis Fed's Banking Supervision and Regulation department.
See a brief agenda. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. The event is free, but students must apply and provide an up-to-date resume by Sept. 18. Faculty and administrators, sign up by Sept. 30 and encourage your high-achieving students to apply.
Professors, a printable flier is available for posting or for handing out to students.
