The fall 2016 semester brings the chance for you and your students to match wits with friends, classmates, or all players as you guess the future of the economy with the new FREDcast Game from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Learn from this webinar how you can make the most of the game.
FREDcast players give their best predictions for four important economic indicators: GDP, employment, unemployment and the consumer price index. Forecasts are then compared with the actual release numbers and scored for accuracy. Players can judge their performance by looking at their rankings within leagues or for all FREDcast users.
The webinar will guide you through the many ways to use FREDcast, from creating a personal account to linking your Econ Lowdown classrooms to leagues. The webinar is free, but registration is required by Sept. 6.
