This annual event will feature Kevin Nicholson this year. He is the chief risk officer and a member of the operating committee at RiverFront Investment Group, a global asset manager that is based in Richmond, Va. He will talk about the financial markets, about preparing to work in the financial sector and about diversity in this industry.
Nicholson joined RiverFront in 2010 as senior fixed-income portfolio manager. Two years later, he assumed responsibility for portfolio risk management.
Nicholson earned a B.A. in business and economics from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va., and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He earned his CFA in 2014.
This will be an engaging conversation in which all may participate. There is no cost to attend, but you must register by Nov. 6.
