On July 9, we will welcome Alexandria LaFaye, author of Worth, who will discuss her writing, including Worth, and new works, Walking Home to Rosie Lee and Pretty Omens. Ms. LaFaye will appear in person in Little Rock and will participate in a video conference with audiences in St. Louis and Louisville.
Use popular children's stories and your whiteboard to spark your students' interest in personal finance and economics. The free, downloadable lessons, along with free, downloadable Notebook and Activinspire files, will bring your students to their feet experiencing economic and personal finance concepts. Your lessons in economics will be as much fun for your students as this workshop will be for you!
Day One: Experts will provide tips and tools for using interactive whiteboards, and lessons will be demonstrated.
Day Two: More great lessons, this time presented in grade-band break-out sessions.
Get lessons! Get free books! Get continental breakfast, lunch, and complimentary parking.
This workshop is free, but registration is required by July 1, 2015.
