Bentonville Event Will Feature Regional Economic Update

ST. LOUIS ― The Little Rock Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and Heartland Forward will host a Regional Economic Briefing on Monday, Nov. 4, in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Time: 7:30 – 10:00 a.m.

Business leaders, academics, community development practitioners and others are invited to attend and learn about the region’s economic conditions. This year's spotlight will be on economic conditions and the outlook for the region and nation, and share ideas for improving economic growth.

The speakers include:

  • Kevin Kliesen, St. Louis Fed research officer and business economist, will discuss national economic conditions.
  • Charles Gascon, St. Louis Fed regional economist, will give an overview of the state of the economy in Arkansas.
  • Ross DeVol, Heartland Forward president and CEO, will discuss the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in driving regional economic growth.


Breakfast will be served. The event is open on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
