St. Louis Fed’s Little Rock Branch to Host Regional Economic Update
LITTLE ROCK ― The Little Rock Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis will host a breakfast meeting on Nov. 16, and provide an update on the local and national economies. The event will be co-hosted by the Institute for Economic Advancement at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

The breakfast event will feature speakers from both institutions:
- Kevin Kliesen, St. Louis Fed research officer and business economist, will discuss national conditions.
- Charles Gascon, St. Louis Fed regional economist, will give an overview of the state of the Arkansas economy.
- Michael Pakko, chief economist and state economic forecaster with the institute, will provide an Arkansas forecast.
- Jim Youngquist, executive director of the Institute, will moderate a Q&A following the presentations.
The briefing will be of particular interest to business leaders, academics and community development practitioners. Others who are interested in these economic briefings are also invited.
