ST. LOUIS – On Dec. 18, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis published its latest Memphis Burgundy Book, a quarterly review of economic information for the Memphis Zone of the Eighth District.
The Memphis Zone includes northern Mississippi, eastern Arkansas and western Tennessee. It has a population of approximately 3.1 million people, including the 1.3 million who live in the Memphis metropolitan statistical area.
The Memphis report is part of the larger Burgundy Books publication, which offers comprehensive economic information for each of the Bank’s four zones: St. Louis, Little Rock, Louisville, Ky., and Memphis.
