St. Louis Fed Announces Changes to The Memphis Branch Board of Directors

MEMPHIS, Tenn.,— The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis has announced the following changes to its Memphis Branch board of directors:

Charles S. Blatteis, managing member of Blatteis Law Firm, PLLC, in Memphis, has been reappointed to the board of directors of the Memphis Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis for a three-year ending December 31, 2013.  Blatteis serves on the board of directors of the Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce, the Friends of the Levitt Pavilion of Memphis, Inc., and the Memphis Chapter of the National Hispanic Professionals Organization.

Mark P. Fowler, vice chairman of Liberty Bank of Arkansas in Jonesboro, Ark., has been appointed to the board of directors of the Memphis Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis for a three-year term ending December 31, 2013. Fowler is also president and director of Liberty Bancshares, Inc., a member of the board of directors of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, a member of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Chancellor’s Circle, and a member of the Arkansas State University Chancellor’s Cabinet.

Charlie E. Thomas, III, regional director of External and Legislative Affairs for AT&T Tennessee in Memphis, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Memphis Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis to fulfill an unexpired term ending December 31, 2012. Thomas also serves on the board of directors of the Greater Memphis Chamber, the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce and LeMoyne Owen College.
