St. Louis Fed Announces Changes to Board of Directors

ST. LOUIS — The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis announced the following changes to its board of directors:

Steven H. Lipstein, president and CEO of BJC HealthCare in St. Louis, was redesignated chairman of the St. Louis Fed’s board of directors. Lipstein is also a member of the board of trustees of Washington University in St. Louis, and a member of the board of directors the Missouri Hospital Association and the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association. He is a member of the board of directors of Ameren, a public utility company headquartered in St. Louis, Mo. Lipstein was appointed by the United States Comptroller General as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), established under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Ward M. Klein, CEO of Energizer Holdings Inc., in St. Louis, was redesignated deputy chairman of the St. Louis Fed’s board of directors. Klein is also a member of the boards of directors of Brown Shoe Company, Eden Theological Seminary, the St. Louis region of Teach for America and the United Way of Greater St. Louis, and is chair of the education committee of St. Louis Civic Progress.

Sharon D. Fiehler, executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Peabody Energy in St. Louis, was reappointed to the St. Louis Fed’s board of directors for a three-year term ending December 31, 2013. Fiehler is also chair of the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Mississippi Valley, Inc., president of the Chancellor's Council of the University of Missouri-St. Louis, member of the board of trustees of the Missouri Botanical Garden and a member of the board of directors of the St. Louis Zoo Association.

Cal McCastlain, partner at Dover Dixon Horne PLLC law firm in Little Rock, Ark., was elected to the St. Louis Fed’s board of directors for a three-year term ending December 31, 2013. McCastlain is also the owner of E Pluribus Land Co., LLC, and is a member of the board of directors of Agricultural Council of Arkansas and the Quapaw Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Robert G. Jones, president and CEO of Old National Bancorp in Evansville, Ind., was re-elected to the St. Louis Fed’s board of directors for a three-year term ending December 31, 2013. Jones is also a member of the boards of directors of Vectren Corp., the University of Evansville, the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana and Deaconess Hospital.
