William Poole, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, is scheduled to
participate in a panel discussion, "How Should the Fed Communicate," on Saturday, April 2, at approximately 10:45 a.m. EST, at Princeton University. The discussion is part of a symposium titled "The Future of the Federal Reserve," sponsored by the Center for Economic Policy Studies (CEP) at Princeton.

While CEP has closed the symposium to the media, the St. Louis Fed will post Mr. Poole's remarks on the Reserve Bank's website (http://stlouisfed.org/news/speeches) as close as possible to the time that he is scheduled to speak (again, 10:45 a.m. EST).

Please direct any inquiries regarding Mr. Poole's remarks to Charles Henderson. Inquiries regarding the arrangements at Princeton can be directed to Kate Hammond at the CEP (609/258-5765).
