Barry Z. Cynamon is a visiting scholar at the Center for Household Financial Stability. His research interests include consumption and saving decisions, banking, and financial regulation. Cynamon is a research associate at the Weidenbaum Center at Washington University in St. Louis, where a recent project included co-editing the book, After the Great Recession: The Struggle for Economic Recovery and Growth, which investigates the sources and responses to the Great Recession (published November 2012, Cambridge University Press). Cynamon received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Washington University and a master’s degree in business administration from University of Chicago.
