After the Fall: Rebuilding Family Balance Sheets, Rebuilding the Economy
Join us on May 23, 2013, for our next Dialogue with the Fed on "After the Fall: Rebuilding Family Balance Sheets, Rebuilding the Economy."
Ray Boshara, senior adviser and director of the St. Louis Fed's Center for Household Financial Stability and William Emmons, assistant vice president and the Center's chief economist, will discuss the damage done to household balance sheets by the Great Recession of 2007-09, as well as the importance of healthy household balance sheets not only for families, but also the overall economy. An audience question-and-answer session moderated by Julie Stackhouse, Banking Supervision and Regulation senior vice president, will follow the discussion.
A reception with light refreshments will begin at 6:15 p.m. with the presentation beginning promptly at 7 p.m.
Free, secure parking is again being offered in the St. Louis Fed’s parking garage, which is located right next to the Bank.
