This event will address timely and critical questions about homeownership, including its effects on household wealth, its risks and potential rewards, and the reforms necessary to achieve affordable homeownership and financial stability.

Featured speakers include:

  • Sarah Rosen Wartell, president, Urban Institute
  • Paul Willen, senior economist and policy advisor, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston

Brief welcoming remarks will also be offered by Ida Rademacher, a vice president at the Aspen Institute and executive director of the Aspen Financial Security Program, and Ray Boshara of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and the institute.
