The St. Louis Fed, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) will host a discussion of emerging Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) partnerships and opportunities in workforce development.
The program will include research from the Dallas and Kansas City Federal Reserve banks published in "Engaging Workforce Development: A Framework for Meeting CRA Obligations."
The event will also include speakers from KentuckianaWorks, the Louisville region’s workforce development board, which helps job seekers find jobs and good careers, education and training. The board also helps employers meet their workforce needs by connecting them with skilled employees and local workforce programs that focus on soft skills and placement, apprenticeship and skills training.
Participation in this event is free; however, registration is required by Wednesday, April 18, as space is limited. Breakfast will be provided.
