At this workshop, secondary educators will get the training they need to meet the employment requirement for teaching high school personal finance. Attendees also will receive free curriculum, resources and teaching tools.
Training will focus on concepts that fall under the personal finance standards. They include: financial responsibility and personal decision making; education, careers, and income; planning and money management; credit and debt; risk management; and saving and investing.
Participants must attend both days to receive the employment requirement.
A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. The event is free, but registration is required. Sign up soon to save your spot.
