Credit can be a double-edged sword. The younger and less experienced among us can easily fall into a credit abyss, fraught with triple-digit APRs, late fees, and dunning creditor calls.
This Money Smart Week event will focus on types of borrowing, including traditional lending services, online services matching borrowers with investors, and alternative lending services, such as pawn shops and payday loans. The workshop will include instruction and resources you can use to prepare your students for real-world personal finance.
This workshop includes dinner and complimentary parking. Attendance is free, but registration is required by Thursday, April 16.
