The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis will host a briefing for congressional staffers on Friday, March 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in SVC 209 at the Capitol Visitor Center in Washington, D.C. At the briefing, you will hear from James Bullard, president and CEO of the St. Louis Fed, and Allen North, assistant vice president of Banking Supervision, Credit, Community Development, and Learning Innovation.
Lunch will be provided at 12:30 p.m. Please bring your smart phone or tablet so that you can participate in a demonstration of FRED®, the St. Louis Fed's economic database, at 1 p.m.
The event will begin with a briefing for staff members of the congressional contingent representing the Eighth District of the Federal Reserve, which includes Arkansas and parts of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
