Payments 101 Online Module for Teachers and Students
In this module, students will learn about the history of payments and the Federal Reserve’s role in the payments system. Along the way, they’ll also learn about the functions of money, early forms of money, the pros and cons of the gold standard, the development of paper currency and checks, and digital currencies.
