Mathematics and Economics Curriculum for K-5 Students

Our partners at the Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE) have introduced an updated K-5 mathematics and economics curriculum. The curriculum offers adaptable lessons that empower teachers to integrate math, economics and personal finance. The lessons cover decision-making, personal finance and business/production topics in each grade-level unit. Pre- and post-lesson assessments and engaging activities are all provided to make this a complete curriculum. Lesson plans are formatted as Google Documents, which allows teachers to edit and customize them. The entire curriculum is also available in Spanish.
