Thanks to all who supported our weeklong celebration of innovation in community development.
The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis set aside this week to raise awareness of innovations in the field and to pay tribute to those who search for new ways to improve life in low- to moderate-income areas.
The Bank’s Community Development Office scheduled events throughout the Fed’s Eighth District. Receptions, seminars, tours and awards ceremonies were held in Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
The Bank extends a special thanks to other organizations that joined in the festivities by scheduling events—in St. Louis: the St. Louis County Office of Community Development, EcoUrban Homes, EarthWays Center, Justine Petersen and the Community Partnership Project at UM-St. Louis; in Pine Bluff, Ark., the Southern Good Faith Fund; and in Cleveland, Miss., Delta State University.
Although this year’s Exploring Innovation in Community Development Week has ended, we invite you to post your organization’s innovative ideas on our Innovation Blackboard.
