Bank On National Data Hub
The St. Louis Fed and Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) Fund established the Bank On National Data (BOND) Hub to present metrics from financial institutions related to account openings, account usage and consistency, and online access.
BOND Hub Interactive Data Tool
Explore the distribution and usage of Bank On accounts by state, metropolitan statistical area (MSA), county and ZIP code using our interactive map below. Hover over any location for detailed information. To focus on a specific location, uncheck “All” in the “Select Location” menu and then check only the desired area(s). Because of the nature of the data collection and limits on the data that some financial institutions could provide, a year-to-year comparison of all data points is not applicable. This tool is best viewed on a desktop monitor or larger screen.
NEW: Our data tool has been updated with additional features, such as county-level data, to provide deeper, more localized insights on the Bank On market and support for banking access efforts.
