About the Audioconference Series
The Connecting Communities™ audioconference series is a Federal Reserve System initiative intended to provide a national audience with timely information on emerging and important community and economic development topics. The audioconference series complements existing Federal Reserve Community Development outreach initiatives that are conducted through Reserve Bank regional offices and at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
Community Development Offices are positioned across the country to promote awareness of investment opportunities and provide pertinent information to financial institutions, government agencies, and organizations that serve low- and moderate-income communities.
Audioconference topics will vary and will be of interest to community development practitioners, financial institution representatives, and policymakers. Each hour-long audioconference will feature 30-45 minutes of speaker presentations followed by an interactive question-and-answer period. Sessions are free and open to the public, only a valid email address is required.
