Michelle Neely

Michelle Neely is a visiting scholar. From 1989 to 1999, she served as a Regional Economist in the Bank’s Research Department, where she monitored national and Eighth District banking and financial conditions and served as editor of the Bank’s The Regional Economist. Michelle returned to the Bank in 2006 to join SPRA, where she analyzes economic, policy and legislative developments that affect the banking industry, especially community banks. Michelle holds a B.A. in economics, policy studies and broadcast journalism from Syracuse University, and a M.A. in economics from the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. She is also a 1995 graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
