How Big Was Recovery Act Spending?

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 helps show how government spending works in a sophisticated economy. In this video, Bill Dupor explains how much money was involved. To give an idea of the federal budget impact, Dupor, an assistant vice president and economist, compares the spending to that for military appropriations in Iraq between 2002 and 2014.
