How the Eighth Federal Reserve District Was Formed

In this video, David Wheelock, vice president and deputy director of research for the St. Louis Fed, discusses the formation of the boundaries of the Eighth Federal Reserve District, which is served by the St. Louis Fed. Area business leaders and bankers put considerable effort toward securing the St. Louis Fed a large district.
