St. Louis Fed Economist Leukhina Appointed to System Affiliates Board of the Opportunity & Inclusive Growth Institute

ST. LOUIS – Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Policy Advisor Oksana Leukhina has been named to the Opportunity & Inclusive Growth Institute to serve the broader Federal Reserve System.

The mission of the institute, established in 2017 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, is to conduct and promote research that will increase economic opportunity and inclusive growth, and help the Federal Reserve achieve its maximum employment mandate. Leukhina will conduct research to help meet the institute’s mission.

Leukhina earned her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and is an economist in the Research Division of the St. Louis Fed.

In addition, she is first vice president of the Midwest Economics Association and a member of The Human Capital and Economic Opportunity (Markets Network and Family Inequality Network) at the Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics at the University of Chicago.
