Statement from the St. Louis Fed's Jim Bullard (president and CEO) and David Sapenaro (first vice president)

The St. Louis Fed is opposed to racism, discrimination and violence. We serve a district that is diverse across many dimensions, and we believe our differences are our greatest strengths. We also believe that a more inclusive economy is a stronger economy. The work of our Bank – for the communities we serve and for our staff – must help to build a more inclusive economy, including rooting out institutional racism and other inequities. While the St. Louis Fed has pursued much research and many initiatives in this regard, our work is never over, and we will continue to work toward that end.
