The economic education specialists at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis provide economic and personal financial education outreach to K-16 educators. In addition to developing award-winning online courses, podcasts, and a variety of other resources for K-16 educators to use in their classrooms, specialists also offer professional development and in-service programs for educators to improve their understanding of economic and personal finance content.
Fed staff is available for professional development events at your school or in your district. Whether you are seeking a one hour or a full-day professional development experience, we can provide resources and instruction in personal finance and/or economics. Approximately 180 educators and business leaders attended the statewide educator conference held at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Miss., on June 15-16. This is the 12th annual Focus on the Economy conference, which is sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) of St. Louis—Memphis Branch; the FRB of Atlanta—New Orleans Branch; and the Mississippi Council for Economic Education.
