Federal Reserve Blackout Periods
Federal Reserve policy limits the extent to which Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) participants and staff can speak publicly or grant interviews during Federal Reserve blackout periods. Blackout periods begin the second Saturday preceding an FOMC meeting and end the Thursday following a meeting, unless otherwise noted.
Blackout dates are as follows.

- Saturday, January 17 – Thursday, January 29
- Saturday, March 7 – Thursday, March 19
- Saturday, April 18 – Thursday, April 30
- Saturday, June 6 – Thursday, June 18
- Saturday, July 18 – Thursday, July 30
- Saturday, September 5 – Thursday, September 17
- Saturday, October 17 – Thursday, October 29
- Saturday, November 28 – Thursday, December 10
