During the first week of an entrepreneurship course or unit, use this booklet to introduce the concept of entrepreneurship.

Have volunteer readers take turns reading sections of the booklet aloud.

Once the booklet has been read, discuss the following:
What is an entrepreneur?
What is the role of entrepreneurs in our economy?

As a class create a list of entrepreneurs--past and present. Have students create Power Point presentations about their favorite entrepreneurs. They may select an entrepreneur from the class list or identify another entrepreneur of interest.
