St. Louis Regional Economic Briefing

7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. | Tuesday, June 24, 2014 - St. Louis, Mo.

We invite you to join us on Tuesday, June 24, for A Regional Economic Briefing. The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is pleased to host two Fed economists, who will each share their views on the St. Louis and U.S. economies.

Kevin Kliesen, a St. Louis Fed economist, will deliver a national outlook on the U.S. economy and a general framework for how the St. Louis economy may or may not be measuring up. Charles Gascon, a regional economist with the St. Louis Fed, will offer a more local perspective by providing his outlook on the St. Louis economy.

Additionally, Senior Examiner Gary Corner will provide an overview of St. Louis regional agricultural conditions.

A continental breakfast will be provided and parking is complimentary.

This event is free; however, registration is required by Tuesday, June 18, as space is limited. This session will be of particular interest to business leaders interested in current regional economic conditions.

As part of a comprehensive effort to accurately assess the regional economy, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis conducts surveys to collect anecdotal information from businesses in our District. This information is used in reports such as the Beige Book and Burgundy Books.
