Global Economic Forum, a two-day conference, is a unique opportunity for educators to examine the phenomenon of globalization and its continual impact on the U.S. economy.
- Day one will feature St. Louis Fed economists Yili Chien and B. Ravikumar, who will discuss how globalization and trade have affected China and India, as well as how globalization has impacted the United States. In addition, participants will engage in interactive lesson demonstrations and will receive lesson plans and other teaching resources to apply conference content in the classroom.
- Day two will feature additional Federal Reserve economists, lesson applications, and a collaborative videoconference among the Federal Reserve banks of Atlanta, Boston, Cleveland, Dallas, Kansas City, and St. Louis. Don't miss the opportunity to exchange views with colleagues across the nation.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days.
Teachers attending both days of the conference will receive a copy of the video, Economic Freedom in Action: Changing Lives.
