New online programs!
“Time Value of Money” helps high school students in economics, math, and personal finance classes understand and retain what is often dry, mathematical content. This program features student-oriented language, program interaction, self-checks for understanding, and video. This course will enhance students’ in-class study of present and future value and serve as a tutorial for students who are struggling with these concepts.
“It’s Your Paycheck!” is an active, engaging way to teach personal finance concepts at the high school level. The nine stand-alone lesson plans are designed to give high school students practical personal finance information to use in their everyday lives, such as the true costs of loans and the pros and cons of renting to own. All lessons are correlated with the National Personal Finance Standards and the National Standards in Economics and include SMART Board activities. In addition to lesson plans and interactive whiteboard applications, we’ve added an online version of “It’s Your Paycheck!” featuring pre and post testing, engaging activities, and self-checks for understanding.
