Home Preservation Event

The Homeownership Preservation Event is free and open to the public. It will provide opportunities for borrowers who are facing foreclosure to meet one-on-one with loan servicers and loss mitigation counselors to work out options to avoid foreclosure. Borrowers are encouraged to bring their most recent pay stubs, bank statements, tax returns and correspondence from their mortgage lender. This event is sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Memphis Branch; the HOPE NOW Alliance; NeighborWorks; HUD; City of Memphis; Shelby County; and the Memphis Housing Counseling Network.

No registration required.

Foreclosure Forum: Help for Our Communities

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Memphis Branch, and the University of Tennessee Extension are sponsoring a one-day workshop on the current mortgage foreclosure problem and available solutions and resources for consumers. Participants will hear analyses of data and trends and remedies for individuals and communities facing these issues. This event will be of interest to bankers, academics, mortgage brokers, real estate professionals, home ownership counselors, civic leaders, elected officials, attorneys, government officials, nonprofits, philanthropic organizations, and community and economic development professionals.
