Emerging Giants: Perspectives on China and India
You and your students have likely heard a lot about China and India, particularly about the growth of their economies. Even during the recent global recession and its immediate aftermath, China and India generated growth that topped 10 percent. Although this pace has since slowed, the growth rates of both countries remain more than double the U.S. rate of 2 percent.
Join us to learn more from St. Louis Fed economists about these emerging giants and the current economic situations they face. Economists YiLi Chien and B. Ravikumar will discuss whether China's and India's growth is sustainable and what impact that could have on the U.S. economy.
The program is free, but registration is required.
Parking is available in the St. Louis Center garage. Please bring your parking ticket with you for validation.
