ST. LOUIS — As schools across the nation adapt to the current climate, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is helping U.S. high school students and teachers prepare for the College Board’s upcoming AP Macroeconomics Exam, which will take place in an online format.

The St. Louis Fed is offering an interactive test prep event May 18, along with a dedicated digital study hub.

Interactive test prep event: At 3:30 p.m. CT Monday, May 18, 2020, the St. Louis Fed’s Economic Education team will join AP Macroeconomics high school teachers to host a webinar for students. Online study hub: The St. Louis Fed’s Economic Education team also has curated some of their best AP Macroeconomics resources. Through the Econ Lowdown portal, students and teachers can access courses, videos and readings about various concepts they have covered in class. As students prepare for the May 21 AP Macro exam, these engaging online resources will help them review, practice and apply key concepts.

The St. Louis Fed’s website has instructions for accessing the online hub.

“Our Economic Education team works closely with K-12 instructors and college professors in order to provide award-winning online resources for their classrooms. This spring, teachers and students alike have had to adapt to an online-only learning environment. We appreciate the challenges they face, and we are here to help, including by offering AP Macroeconomics resources,” said Scott Wolla, St. Louis Fed economic education coordinator, who will serve as a moderator for the May 18 interactive test prep.
