    Pinball Economics

    The objective of the pinball game, of course, is to keep the ball in play as long as possible, while racking up a high score. The score is dependent on the interplay of the ball with the obstacles. The skill involved rests in the player's ability to use the flippers to keep the ball in play. Oddly enough, the basics of the pinball game have something in common with the fundamentals of maintaining a growing economy.
