St. Louis Fed Accepting Applications for 2026-27 Student Board of Directors

ST. LOUIS – The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is seeking bright and ambitious high school seniors to serve on its Student Board of Directors for the 2026-27 school year, with applications due by April 3, 2026.

The St. Louis Fed's Student Board of Directors program offers high school seniors a dynamic way to learn about the nation's central bank. Participants gain a thorough understanding of the Federal Reserve's role in the U.S. economy and experience its unique partnership with banks, businesses and the community. Additionally, participants learn how their personal financial decisions impact the economy. 

Applications are now open for the 2026-27 cohort and will be accepted through April 3, 2026.

Applicants should be: 

  • A rising high school senior at a public or private high school in the greater St. Louis area
  • In good academic standing 
  • Willing and able to commit to attending all meetings, completing all assigned work and giving a presentation about the Federal Reserve at their school
