This event was during President Musalem’s Jan. 29-30 visit to Northwest Arkansas, which is in the St. Louis Fed’s Little Rock Zone.

President Musalem met with business and community leaders and learned about the economy from the perspective of the retail and food industries. He also learned about technology and art initiatives. In Fayetteville, he met with University of Arkansas engineering faculty and toured the National Multi-User Silicon Carbide Research and Fabrication Laboratory, known as MUSiC. It allows universities, national labs and businesses to manufacture more energy-efficient semiconductor prototypes. In Bentonville, President Musalem toured the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
