At a roundtable discussion and during a tour in Chesterfield, Mo., St. Louis Fed President Alberto Musalem learned more about innovations in agriculture and heard the perspectives of key organizations: the American Soybean Association, National Corn Growers Association, United Soybean Board, U.S. Soybean Export Council and Bayer Crop Science. They talked about the challenges facing farmers and others in the agriculture sector, which is an important part of the U.S. and Eighth Federal Reserve District economies.
